Kevin graduated from Nipissing University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in accounting and joined Vaive and Associates in early 2019 as the Assurance Manager.

Throughout his post-secondary career, Kevin completed bookkeeping for small businesses, worked as a financial advisor for TD Canada Trust, and taught online courses in business, accounting, and finance.

While working towards his professional designation, Kevin was a senior accountant at an international accounting firm where he performed and supervised assurance engagements for clients in many different industries, with a focus on not-for-profits, the public sector, and construction. After several years in that capacity, Kevin took on the role of Regional Controller – North America for an international publicly traded drilling and exploration company. His experience in both the public and private sectors enables him to provide clients with the skill set to perform efficient assurance engagements and advise on complicated accounting and finance matters, as well as forecasting cash flows and long-term planning.

In addition to his professional experience, Kevin has served in the capacity of director on several not-for-profit organizations in Northern Ontario and currently acts as the Treasurer for a Not-for-Profit in the Ottawa area.

Outside of work, he likes to spend time with his family, friends, and dog. He also enjoys biking, snowboarding, and golfing.
